Hotel Splendide Royal Paris - Relais & Châteaux

I loved the everything. The quality of the staff was exceptional. They were kind, extremely helpful and just wonderful people. They went out of their ay to make everything perfect. The breakfast was delicious, with a very diverse selection. The restaurant was top notch. The sommelier was a joy in explaining the wines in the pairing. There was so much passion in his knowledge and excitement of wine and food. The location was the best. Safe and quiet and close to the Champs-Elysee. The room was beautiful with so many amenities. It was perfection! We had an issue with forgetting something in our rental car we had returned that morning in Dijon. They were going to send it to us but it had to be done with a prepaid envelope sent to the rental company. When we got to the hotel, the gentleman at the front desk was just as confused as we were as to why they needed it done this way. He called them for us and got the correct information. He wrote down the instructions in french for what we needed to do at the post office. It really was above and beyond to help us. Everything went smoothly at the post office because of the help. I forget the name of the gentleman who helped us, but he was working on Wednesday October 16 in the late morning. Also, a special mention to Maria and Felice who were wonderful to talk each day.

We felt this was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in terms of location, staff, meals and facilities. Regarding the location, it is possible to reach the Champs-Elysées within a 10-minute walk. Regarding staff, they took into account our poor English and the circumstances at the time in all aspects of check-in, check-out, and room making. Regarding meals, we booked a plan that included breakfast. The breakfast venue was a very comfortable space, and the staff were cheerful and courteous even though they were busy. Regarding the facilities, I had no problems with showers, toilets, beds, etc. If I ever come to Paris, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

This hotel is the smallest 5 star hotel in Paris with only 12 rooms. They are sunning, the bed is perfect and all amenities in the room are there. For Paris, the price was good. Breakfast was great and included. I am a big complainer, but here there is nothing all good!!

Splendide Royal absolutely exceeded all expectations. For a 5-star hotel in Paris centre, expectations were high. I booked this weekend for my parents 30th wedding anniversary and asked the Hotel for cooperation in preparing the warmest, most beautiful and unforgettable reception to them. It could not have been better. The suite was superb - Eiffel Tower view -, the bouquet of roses was absolutely beautiful and the Hotel was so kind in leaving some reception champagne together with fine pastries in the suite. Breakfast was also superb. The service was outstanding, in kindness, high standards, respect, dedication for the guests. Overall I wouldn't think twice in recommending Splendide Royal for a stay in Paris, especially and even more for special ocasions.

The room was beautiful and comfortable to live in. It is a great location, within walking distance of every attraction. Next door is the presidential palace. On check-out day, the Olympic Games exercise was encountered, and the road closure caused taxi inconvenience. Although we changed the train time in the end, the hotel's front desk staff was very friendly and tried their best to solve the problem for us. I really appreciate them.
